Foreign Brothers Presents: SOUND EXCHANGE #1 Calle Luna vs Alárìíyá

Picture one stage, two bands, one host, and the crowd cheering for its favorite performer. Now imagine Melbourne’s favorite latin band Calle Luna (Domingo Latino) meeting Afrobeat champions The Afrobiotics (a new project from members of The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra and Lamine Sonko) in a dance-off competition like no other. The rules are simple: each band can only perform one song before handing over to the other band, with the crowd as judge. From Salsa to Nigerian Funk, this will be one massive party!

Due to a case of the spicy flu The Afrobiotics won’t be able to perform with us this Sunday.
However we’re excited to have our friends at Alárìíyá come to the rescue with their high energy blend of afro-jazz who will be battling it out with Calle Luna for the first Sound Exchange.
Alárìíyá means ‘party people’ in Yoruba language. So you know we’re in good hands!
