Join artist Jayanto Tan for a special performance with local community group Orkes Jawi Waton Muni and a creative activity at the Counihan Gallery. Drawing from his exhibition 'Fairy Tales from the Celestial Garden', Tan will begin with a singing performance outside the gallery, which explores language loss and reconnection to culture. Following the performance, Tan will guide you to make your own ‘double-happiness’ symbol out of paper, which will be added to the ‘kampoeng wall-mural’ – a concept inspired by the artist’s mother’s hometown.
