Join Timo-Veikko Valve—affectionately known as "Tipi"—Principal Cellist of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, for an evening of exquisite solo cello performances for BMF. The program features works by J.S. Bach, the evocative compositions of Australia's Kate Moore, and music from Tipi’s Finnish roots by Kaija Saariaho and Jean Sibelius.
Raised in Finland in a "musically oriented" family, Tipi was encouraged to pick up the cello at the age of six. Today, he’s celebrated for his creative artistry and dedication to redefining what it means to be a modern musician. Prepare for a masterclass in heartfelt expression and skill.
