BMF takes over the stunning Brunswick Uniting Church for At the Altar of Us—an all-ages, intimate evening celebrating Queer talent. With storytelling and songs from local stars Ruby Gill, Merpire, and Porpoise Spit, this special event offers a rare chance to dive into the meaning and lore behind their music. Surrounded by the glow of stained glass, Porpoise Spit curates a heartfelt gathering of their favourite Queer artists, inviting the whole community to join this special one-night-only performance.

Brunswick Music Festival acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the lands and waterways in the area now known as Merri-bek, and pays respect to their Elders past and present, and to all First Nations people and communities. BMF embraces their traditional and contemporary cultural and creative expression and significant contribution to life in the area.
